Why John Paul Thomas
One standard, every piece
John Paul Thomas started with a simple complaint: too much menswear looks sharp in the photo and gives up after five wears. Seams that pucker, collars that curl, trousers that lose their line. We wanted the opposite, and we couldn't find it at a fair price, so we built it.
We run the brand from Industry City in Brooklyn, and every piece has to pass the same test before it goes up: does it fit well, does it hold its shape, and would we wear it ourselves? If the answer isn't yes three times, it doesn't make the site.
What we tell you about a garment is what the garment is. The fabric listed is the fabric used, the delivery time shown is the delivery time we expect, and if something isn't right you have 45 days to send it back.

We launched with the pieces a wardrobe is built on: shirts, blazers and smart trousers. New pieces join season by season, and each one is chosen to work with the rest, so nothing you buy from us goes out of step with what came before.
The palette stays disciplined for the same reason. Navys, whites, stones and greys that combine without thinking, whether it's the first piece you own from us or the tenth.
